Eh.

I did not get the job. Chris' income almost covers our expenses. We applied for a private student loan and seeing if we get approved for it. We have been conditionally approved, but they have to check and make sure that I'm actually enrolled as a student at Fresno State.

Chris and I saw Iron Man last weekend :) Unfortunately the reason was because we lost Blizzard and it was one of the only things we could do to get Chris' mind off of it.

Thunder has recovered quite well and is loving being back in the main cage. Star is slowly showing improvements. Dewdrop has what we have now figured out is a tumor in her brain :( We are doing what we can to help her, but there is only so much we can do. Hopefully the antibiotics and steroids will help. She is constantly wondering why mom and dad are standing on the wall. The good news is that she absolutely LOVES the antibiotics and considers it a treat. She'll stand on her hind legs and lick the medicine from the syringe. It's sad since Dewdrop is one of our rats who LOVES everyone and is a mama's girl.

I got my own violin last weekend! It's exciting to finally having my own that hasn't been beat up, has all the fine tuners, and is mine! We were able to get it through a friend of a friend so it wasn't that expensive. We were actually hoping to get one in January for me anyway so we just moved up the time table and got a cheaper deal because of it.

Going to the zoo with the husband on Saturday! Looking forward to it since we are hoping to be able to catch the bird show and pet the stingrays! Anyways, I need to take a shower, do some reading of Billy Budd, and go to sleep since Chris and I need to buy groceries before our afternoon classes tomorrow.

First post here

Well, I do have a myspace, facebook, xanga, and livejournal, but this should be a little more universal for people. Plus it seems to be what everyone is using right now anyway.

Things are alright here. Just trying to find a more steady job to work in addition to school. Rats are always a little stressful, but I wouldn't trade any of them. They are wonderful and little joys! Going to the zoo on Saturday. Chris and I are working on actually having some dates now. So far we have seen Wall-E and Iron Man. We have intentions on going to the budget theatre again to hopefully catch Hancock and Get Smart. We will see if that actually happens.

Anyways, I'm off to English class now :( Gotta do what you gotta do.
